About author:BAO Weimin (1960- ) received his BS degree from the Xidian University and his Ph.D degree from the Beihang University. He is the academic leader in the field of space launch vehicle system and control system in China. He serves as Director of the Science and Technology Committee of CASC. He was elected as Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2005 and Member of the International Academy of Astronautics in 2014.
